The minimalistic design of the Philips Respironics DreamWear Nasal CPAP Mask uses a tube-like frame and under-the-nose cushion to comfortably deliver your therapy air. Designed with active sleepers in mind, the head-mounted hose connection and 360-degree swivel give you the freedom and flexibility to move throughout the night.

Reduces Irritataion

Avoid nose bridge irritations with the DreamWear mask. The soft silicone cushion rests beneath your nostrils, letting air flow comfortably. Created to break away from traditional nasal pillow masks, the DreamWear's unique design does not use nasal prongs or nasal pillows that insert into your nostrils. This nasal cushion simply cradles your nose, making it an ideal option for those seeking a slimmer alternative to traditional nasal masks for their sleep apnea therapy.

Open Line of Sight

With the under-the-nose cushion, the Respironics DreamWear Nasal Mask features an intuitively engineered hollow frame that allows airflow from the frame to the mask cushion, eliminating bulk from the front of your face and replacing it with minimal facial touchpoints. You can catch the end of the big game, read your favorite book, or use electronics while still getting the most from your CPAP therapy. For those with sensitive skin, the DreamWear frame also includes fabric wraps.

Full Range of Movement

The DreamWear CPAP Mask features a top-of-head hose connection to help keep cumbersome tubing away from your face and provide more freedom to move throughout the night. When combined with the 360-degree swivel tubing attachment, you’ll experience fewer hose tangles and keep the DreamWear nasal cushion from shifting or leaking.

Customize Your Fit

To take the guesswork out of finding your ideal size, the DreamWear Fit Pack comes equipped with nasal cushions in all sizes. When it’s time to replace your mask or DreamWear nasal cushion, you’ll be equipped with your perfect sizing information.

Medical Implant Safety

This product does not use magnetic implants to secure the mask into place. Therefore it is considered safe to use for people with pacemakers, insulin pumps, and other medical implant devices.

Finding the Right Mask Fit

This product is a fit pack, meaning it comes with multiple cushion sizes so you can find the perfect mask that will stay in place and won't leak. These sizes include small, medium, medium wide, and large. We suggest testing each cushion size included in your fit pack to ensure you choose the right one. If you mask is creating red marks or leaking air, adjust your head straps first. Then if the problem continues, try a different cushion size.

Choosing the Correct Frame Size

The DreamWear Nasal Mask set is available in three frame sizes, including small, medium, and large. Most people are encouraged to go with the medium-sized frame. Customers with wider faces or broad bone structure should try the large frame. People with petite faces may need to order a size small frame. If your frame feels too tight or too loose, we suggest sizing up or down. For more sizing information see the sizing guide linked above.

FAQs

More

Where will the DreamWear nasal mask rest on my face?

The DreamWear under the nose fit comfortably delivers therapy air while providing an open line of sight that lets you watch TV or read a book before bed. Other masks from Philips Respironics go across your forehead, but this mask fits directly under your nose and features a top-of-head hose connection that gives active sleepers the freedom and flexibility to move throughout the night.

What’s the difference between a DreamWear nasal cushion versus a nasal pillow?

Though the concept of nasal cushions and nasal pillows are similar, the fit is different. DreamWear nasal cushions are soft inserts that fit inside the frame of your DreamWear Nasal Mask or DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask to create a superior seal while CPAP pillows are worn with nasal pillow masks and sit at the base of your nose to direct airflow into your nostrils.

How to help eliminate CPAP red marks on your face?

Using Philips Respironics DreamWear Fabric Wraps, which are designed specifically for the DreamWear Masks, helps to prevent skin irritation and creates a gentle barrier between your skin and the cool silicone of the mask frame.

How to help with DreamWear CPAP mask nose irritation?

If you’re newly diagnosed with sleep apnea or adjusting to a brand new DreamWear mask, you may experience some irritation in and around your nose. We invite you to check out our skin irritation solutions. However, if the problem persists, we encourage you to talk with your healthcare provider about the fit and style of your mask.

What is the DreamWear nasal mask made of?

The DreamWear Nasal Mask is made with silicone, which makes the mask latex-allergy friendly and can help prevent skin irritation like reddening and skin indentations.

How to clean your DreamWear nasal mask?

Your DreamWear Nasal Mask should be cleaned daily with mild soap and warm water. You can also try incorporating mask wipes into your cleaning regimen. This is especially important during cold and flu season or when you are ill. Using the Lumin CPAP Cleaner, which eliminates 99.9% of germs and bacteria in just five minutes, is a great addition to your cleaning routine. You can read the full Lumin review.
