Using Your Mask For the First Time

1. Hold the back of the grey strap behind your head
2. Pull the front of the mask forward, stretching the headgear over your head
3. Position the cushion under your nose and orange strap on the top of your head
4. Connect the swivel to your CPAP hose
5. Turn on your machine
6. Pull the cushion away from the nose to loosen the headgear
7. Push the cushion into the nose to tighten headgear
8. Reposition the cushion if you experience air leaks
9. If the cushion feels too tight try pushing the grey and yellow straps further apart

Notes

• The headgear can be adjusted by lengthening and shortening the side straps.
• The cushion should seal and feel comfortable under your nose.
• Your nose should never be inside the nasal cushion opening.

Features that automatically start therapy airflow may not work effectively with the Solo, though this varies from machine to machine.

Medical Implant Safety

This mask does not contain magnetic clips. This means it is safe for people with pacemakers, insulin pumps, and other medical implants.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

The Solo Nasal Mask comes with one-size-fits-all headgear, but it is offered in a variety of cushion sizes, including small, medium, large, and wide. If you do not know your cushion size, we suggest ordering a Solo Nasal Mask Fit Pack which comes with a small, medium, and large cushion that you can test out.

Selecting Your Cushion Size

If you currently own an F&P Solo Nasal Mask and are looking to re-order your current mask size, you can find your mask's cushion size by checking the plastic shell of your Solo Nasal Mask cushion. On this cushion, you will see an S, M, L, or W indicating the size of your cushion.

Care & Cleaning Notice

The following information includes recommended instructions for the general care and maintenance of our CPAP masks. Please review your mask's product manual for further details, including dishwasher safety notes.

Mask Part Replacement Schedule

• Cushion: Every 3-6 Months
• Headgear: Every 6 Months
• Complete Mask: Every 12 Months

Disassembling Your Mask

1. Unclip the front of the headgear from the frame located in front of the exhaust holes
2. Pull the cushion from the frame
3. Do not attempt to remove the swivel or the tube as this can break the mask

Daily Cleaning

1. Disassemble mask
2. Wipe cushion clean or wash with soap and water
3. Leave cushion to dry out of direct sunlight
4. Rinse short tube in warm water
5. Short tube to drip dry
6. Do not reassemble until mask parts are fully dry

Weekly Cleaning

1. Disassemble mask completely
2. Wash mask frame, short tube, cushion, and headgear in warm water with mild soap
3. Allow hollow short tube to soak in warm soapy water
4. Rinse each component thoroughly
5. Allow all parts to dry away from direct sunlight or heat
6. Do not reassemble mask until all parts are fully dry
