Engineered with a lightweight and compact design, the Digital Finger Pulse Oximeter is simple to use and outfitted with the latest oximetry technology in a spot–check device. This durable all–in–one unit provides accurate simple measurements of your pulse rate and oxygen saturation rate. Includes Two AAA Batteries With 30 Hour Continuous Run Time Two AAA batteries are included in the package for immediate use, and the device offers approximately 30 hours of continuous run time with the included AAA batteries. To preserve the batteries, the device has an auto-off feature that turns the unit off if activity is not detected for more than eight seconds. The oximeter will notify you when the battery is low, too, so you can switch out the batteries. General Tips Section The Digital Finger Pulse Oximeter is sold as over-the-counter and does not require a doctor's prescription. If the fingernail has polish or acrylic nails, the readings may be inaccurate. Beginning in the fall of 2014, this product is blue. It does not include a silicone cover with this item. The cover was not required for the the use of the product.
