Built with your comfort in mind, the Philips Respironics DreamWisp Nasal CPAP Mask With Headgear reduces the bulk and mask tugging with its top-of-the-head hose connection and includes multiple cushion sizes, so you can experiment to find your ideal fit.

Over-the-Nose Cushion Creates Stable Seal

By sealing the Wisp cushion around the base of your nose rather than at your nostrils, you receive a more reliable fit while minimizing the bulk and mask discomfort associated with over-the-nose cushions.

Works in Any Sleeping Position for Your Comfort All Night Long

Lightweight, flexible, and designed to accommodate every sleeping position, the DreamWisp Nasal Mask lets you sleep on your side or stomach during CPAP therapy without compromising your seal. The mask frame, which is a holdover from the DreamWear mask line, also doubles as the DreamWisp's airflow channel; if pressure is placed on one side of the mask frame, the other side will automatically adjust, so you never lose air pressure and your sleep therapy continues uninterrupted.

Multi-Sized Cushion Options Help You Find Your Ideal Fit

Take the guesswork out of ordering online with the DreamWisp Nasal Fit Pack, which includes cushions in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. At home, you can try each size to find your ideal fit. Each minimal contact nasal cushion is designed with exceptional comfort in mind, allowing the Philips Respironics DreamWisp Nasal Mask to provide comfortable therapy to any face size or shape.

Top-of-the-Head Hose Connection Offers Freedom of Movement

Located at the top of your head, the 360-degree swivel hose connection is just as active as you are. The DreamWisp Nasal mask’s design can keep up with your movement without creating kinks in your hose.

Fewer Touchpoints Reduces Skin Irritation

Therapy air travels through the elbow and the hollow frame and then enters at the cushion, which helps limit touchpoints and red marks.

Magnetic Headgear Clips for Easy On and Off

Designed to anchor the headgear to the mask frame while creating fewer impressions in the skin, the magnetic headgear clips let you put on and take off the Wisp mask with ease.

Whisper-Quiet Exhalation Ports

Multiple exhalation ports reduce the sound of exhaled air, creating a quieter night for you and your partner. At only 26 decibels, the DreamWisp mask is ultra-quiet.

Tips & Resources

More

The nasal cushion should be replaced once every three to six months.

DreamWisp Fitting Tips

  1. Select the cushion that fits the width of the nose without blocking the nostrils. The top of the cushion may sit between the bridge and the tip of the nose. There are five cushion sizes available: petite, small, medium, large, extra-large.
  2. Unclasp one or both of the magnetic clips from the magnetic clip receiver.
  3. Place the cushion over the nose.
  4. Clasp the magnetic clips to the magnetic clip receivers.
  5. To adjust the headgear, peel the bottom headgear tabs away from the fabric. Evenly adjust the length of the straps. Press the tabs back against the fabric to reattach. Repeat this step with the top straps.
  6. Position the mask until it fits comfortably. When finished, the elbow should rest at the top of the head. The cushion should rest comfortably on the face without blocking the nostrils.

How to Check for Leaks with the DreamWisp

It's normal for air to escape from the DreamWisp, especially near the exhalation ports of the mask. You'll notice two: one near the cushion and one on top of the mask near the elbow.

If the blowing air is uncomfortable or gets blown into the face or eyes, this is a sign of a leak. Most leaks can be corrected by repositioning the cushion and tightening the straps.

If the straps pinch or feel too tight, it may be time to choose a larger or smaller size cushion.

Cleaning Tips & Instructions

The frame and cushion can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher. You shouldn’t wash your mask in the dishwasher more frequently than one week, as this can reduce the lifespan of the mask. Avoid washing the headgear or soft wraps in this manner, as the heat of the dishwasher can damage these items.

To clean by hand:

  1. Disassemble the mask, removing the headgear, cushion, frame connector, and elbow.
  2. Wash the mask components with water and a mild soap, rinsing thoroughly when completed.
  3. The cushion should be cleaned with Mask Wipes, or mild soap and water. Make sure to clean the mask thoroughly, removing any deposits left behind.
  4. Allow all parts to air dry.

How Do I Size the DreamWisp Nasal Mask?

This fit pack contains all five available cushion sizes with a medium frame. If you still have questions about your mask fit, give us a call at 1-800-356-5221 or contact your doctor for additional fitting instructions.

Is the DreamWisp Mask Quiet?

At an operational sound level of 18.6 dBa, the DreamWisp is about as noisy as rustling leaves and is actually one of the quietest CPAP masks carried by CPAP.com.

What's the difference between DreamWisp vs Wisp Nasal Mask?

The DreamWisp features a top-of-head hose connection with a hollow frame to route air around the face and to the mask. The Wisp Nasal mask shares the same cushion as the DreamWisp, but the hose connects in front of the mask cushion, as a traditional CPAP mask would, rather than at the top of the head, like the DreamWisp.

What's the difference between DreamWisp vs DreamWear?

The DreamWisp is a member of the DreamWear line of masks from ResMed. Both masks feature a top-of-head hose connection and hollow mask frame that routes air from the top of the head, around the face, and to the mask itself. While the DreamWear Nasal Mask is a cradle design that rests under the nose and seals around the outer edges of it, the DreamWisp completely encompasses the nose as a traditional nasal mask would.

While there is no dedicated mask liner for the DreamWisp, the extra-small RemZzzs' Padded Nasal CPAP Mask Liners should work well with this mask.

Is the DreamWisp compatible with any machine?

Yes. You can use standard tubing with the DreamWisp on any CPAP machine with no issues. If you're using a ResMed AirMini, you'll need the Zephair AirMini Universal Adapter for your DreamWisp to be compatible.
