Using Your New Transcend Micro for the First Time

• Your machine's therapy pressure settings will have been set prior to shipping.
• Connect one end of the included AirFlex hose to the machine outlet and the other to your CPAP mask.
• Attach the AC power adapter cord to the machine and a power source to turn it on.
• Your machine will now be ready to begin therapy.

FAA/TSA Compliance

• The Transcend Micro meets FAA and TSA requirements for use on commercial aircraft.
• Carry your machine with you to prevent damage during transport.
• CPAP machines are exempt from counting against you as a carry-on item on domestic flights.
• Contact the airline a few days prior to your flight if you plan to use it during flight.

MySleepDash App Notice

The Transcend Micro can transfer your sleep therapy data to the MySleepDash app via Bluetooth connection. This data can be shared with your healthcare provider. For the sake of customer privacy, we ensure that Bluetooth is disabled before the machine is sent to you. If you wish to use the MySleepDash app to track your therapy progress or you intend to share your therapy data with your healthcare provider, you will need to enable Bluetooth while setting up your machine.

SleepStart Tips

SleepStart technology automatically begins therapy when you put on your mask and take a breath. If the feature does not appear to be functioning, this comfort feature can be turned off. Please refer to the User Guide for more information.

Waterless Humidification Notice

The Transcend Micro is compatible with the AirMist Heat Moisture Exchange (HME) humidifier cartridge for waterless humidification. This bundle includes four HME cartridges and a plastic housing which can be easily attached between your mask and tubing for added comfort during therapy.

Drying Mode Tips

Use the dedicated drying mode button to remove moisture from your tubing and mask after each use.

This feature is especially useful when traveling or camping to prevent bacteria growth.

Allow the drying cycle to complete fully before storing your equipment.

Using Your Mask For the First Time

• Allow your new mask to air out for a couple of hours
• Place the nasal pillow cushion into your nostrils
• Pull head strap over the back of your head
• The grey strap should sit across the crown of your head
• The blue strap should sit across the back of the head
• Adjust the velcro fit tabs as needed
• Push the grey and blue straps farther apart to create stability
• Start your machine
• If you experience mask leaks try repositioning your pillows
