Using Your Mask For the First Time

Hold the back of the grey strap behind your head
Pull the front of the mask forward, stretching the headgear over your head
Position the cushion under your nose and yellow strap on the top of your head
Connect the swivel to your CPAP hose
Turn on your machine
Pull the cushion away from the nose to loosen the headgear
Push the cushion into the nose to tighten headgear
Reposition the cushion if you experience air leaks
If the cushion feels too tight try pushing the grey and yellow straps further apart

Notes

The headgear can be adjusted by lengthening and shortening the side straps.
The cushion should seal and feel comfortable under your nose.

Solo Nasal Pillow & SmartStart or Auto-On Features

Features that automatically start therapy airflow may not work effectively with the Solo, though this varies from machine to machine.

Medical Implant Safety

This mask does not contain magnetic clips. This means it is safe for people with pacemakers, insulin pumps, and other medical implants.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

The Solo Nasal Pillow Mask comes with one-size-fits-all headgear, but it is offered in a variety of cushion sizes, three of which are included in the Solo Nasal Pillow Mask Fit Pack. This includes sizes small, medium, and large. You can also purchase a size wide cushion separately.

If you've never worn a Solo mask, we encourage you to order the Fit Pack version. While sizing guides can be helpful in determining your most likely fit, you might actually get a better seal with a cushion that's a size larger or smaller than what the guide indicates. Having each option on hand ensures you have no doubts that your cushion is the best size for your unique needs and facial contours.

Care & Cleaning

Care & Cleaning Notice

The following information includes recommended instructions for the general care and maintenance of our CPAP masks. Please review your mask's product manual for further details, including dishwasher safety notes.

Mask Part Replacement Schedule

Cushion: Every 3-6 Months
Headgear: Every 6 Months
Complete Mask: Every 12 Months

Disassembling Your Mask

Unclip the front of the headgear from the frame located in front of the exhaust holes
Pull the cushion from the frame
Do not attempt to remove the swivel or the tube as this can break the mask

Daily Cleaning

Disassemble mask
Wipe cushion clean or wash with soap and water
Leave cushion to dry out of direct sunlight
Rinse short tube in warm water
Short tube to drip dry
Do not reassemble until mask parts are fully dry

Weekly Cleaning

Disassemble mask completely
Wash mask frame, short tube, cushion, and headgear in warm water with mild soap
Allow hollow short tube to soak in warm soapy water
Rinse each component thoroughly
Allow all parts to dry away from direct sunlight or heat
Do not reassemble mask until all parts are fully dry

The Solo Nasal Pillow Mask is compatible with most CPAP machines that use standard tubing connections. However, it may not be compatible with some travel CPAP machines, such as the AirMini.
