Details
MoreThe most-loved TAP PAP Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask from Airway Management got some significant upgrades based on user feedback. Though it does have some light dental requirements, the newest edition features a molded, lightweight mouthpiece that offers a more comfortable fit without sacrificing stability.
Quality Seal Prevents Therapy Disruptions-No Headgear Required
The TAP PAP CPAP Mask is a unique sleep device that breaks away from traditional cpap mask technology with its innovative mouthpiece, providing a new take on nasal pillow CPAP therapy. After softening in hot water, the TAP oral appliance adjusts to the size, shape, and overall dental structure, giving you a just-right fit.
There’s no bulky headgear (though if you'd like it, TAP PAP does offer optional headgear) needed with the TAP PAP-simply attach the molded mouthpiece to the frame and adjust the alignment of the mouthpiece and nasal pillows for a secure seal to begin your oral appliance therapy.
Experience Fewer Therapy Disruptions with Innovative Exhalation Port Placement
The holes on the mask frame distribute exhaled air evenly and quietly for even better sleep therapy success.
Premium Features Offer Flexibility and Ease
Sleepers who naturally toss and turn unlock more freedom and flexibility with the two-piece rotating ball and socket joint on the TAP PAP tube. Plus, the connection between the joint and hose makes pausing or resuming PAP therapy a snap.
Offers the Stability and Comfort of Your Dreams
Lighter and more comfortable than its precursory model, the TAP PAP mask features nasal pillows in multiple sizes without compromising stability. The nasal pillow masks are made with a thin, soft polymer that is more comfortable on your skin, while the mouthpiece offers uncompromised support by securing on your upper teeth.
Adaptive Design Maintains Proper Fit
Use the nut and bolt joint to make adjustments to the fit and seal of your mouth guard. Once set, this strapless sleep apnea treatment requires very few adjustments.

Tips & Resources
MoreProduct Manual: TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask User Guide
Using Your Mask for the First Time
Your TAP PAP mouthpiece must be fitted prior to using the mask. This involves soaking it in boiling water to soften, then positioning the trays along your upper and lower teeth to create an impression. After fitting the mouthpiece, you will need to try each of the nasal cushions to find the right size for you. Please see the user guide for more details on this process.
Medical Implant Safety
This mask does not contain magnetic clips. This means it is safe for people with pacemakers, insulin pumps, and other medical implants.
Finding the Perfect Mask Fit
The TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask is made up of a personalized mouthpiece and a nasal pillow cushion that is offered in three different sizes (small, medium, and large). If you experience mouth discomfort while using the TAP PAP, you can refit the mouthpiece by following the fitting guide included in your user manual. If you experience air leaks or nasal pillow slipping, we suggest trying a different nasal pillow size.

MoreFAQs
MoreHow long does it take to adjust to wearing the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask?
It depends on which part you're adjusting to. Adjusting to a mouthpiece may take a few days. Adjusting to a CPAP mask for the first time can take a couple of weeks for some people. If you experience discomfort, you can resize your mouthpiece or try a different size nasal pillow cushion.
What should I do if my TAP PAP mouthpiece feels too tight?
The TAP PAP mouthpiece should be a comfortably snug fit. To loosen the fit of the mouthpiece, hold the mouthpiece under hot tap water for 15 seconds and re-insert. Rather than sucking against the mouthpiece, gently bite on it for approximately 4 minutes. The fit will loosen around the teeth.
What if I need to change the width of my TAP PAP mouthpiece?
Hold the mouthpiece under hot water and spread or narrow the spacing using your fingers.
What do I do if my nasal pillows are not positioned correctly?
Adjust the alignment of the nasal pillows and mouthpiece using the bolt and screw. You can find more details on this in your user manual.
How do I address air leaks around my TAP PAP nasal pillows?
Fit the mask while under pressure with the air flowing from the machine. Move the mask away from your nose as much as you can without it leaking. Because the stability mouthpiece of the TAP PAP keeps the pillows in place you will find it can be tightened less than a regular mask and still seal. Rotation of the seals to achieve a good seal or change nasal pillow sizes.
Can I refit my mouthpiece if it doesn't feel right?
Yes, to completely remold the mouthpiece, place your mouthpiece in boiling water for one minute, then refit the piece to your upper and lower teeth. See your user manual for more information.
