Are the Mirage Quattro cushion sizes interchangeable on the mask frame?

Mirage Quattro cushions are not interchangeable. Each sized cushion has a corresponding mask frame.

How do I care for my mask?

Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.

The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.

For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

Is the Mirage Quattro compatible with any machine?

Yes, the Mirage Quattro is compatible with all CPAP, APAP, and BiLevel machines that work with a standard hose. If you’re ready to switch up your mask set-up but you’re satisfied with your current machine, no problem—you can add the Mirage Quattro without any interruption to your nightly sleep apnea therapy.

Is the Mirage quattro Quiet?

A whisper is about 30 decibels, and the Mirage Quattro operates at around 25 decibels. Since the Mirage Quattro is designed with a grid of vent holes, the mask diffuses exhaled air away from you and your partner for a quieter night.

What’s the difference between the Mirage Quattro and the Quattro FX?

There are a few similarities and differences between the Mirage Quattro and the Quattro FX. Both are full face masks that feature a dual-wall cushion, but the two masks fit differently. Unlike the Mirage Quattro, the Quattro FX creates a firm seal without bulky forehead support and has fewer facial touchpoints in general. If you are claustrophobic, keep the number of touchpoints in mind when you’re shopping for a new CPAP mask.

What accessories help with skin irritation and mask leaks?

Sometimes a little tinkering is required to get the very best fit for your CPAP mask. If you are experiencing skin irritation or mask leaks and have made the proper sizing adjustments, you may benefit from using Full Face CPAP Mask Liners or the Pad-A-Cheek CPAP Mask Strap Pads to reduce redness and create a stronger seal.
