Quattro Air For Her Full Face Mask with Headgear

  • Easy-to-Use Design and Easy Cleaning
  • Open Line of Sight
  • Spring Air Cushion Offers Comfort and Strengthens Seal
  • SoftEdge Headgear Features Feminine Touches
  • Quick Release Elbow and Circular Vent Permit Movement and Reduce Noise

Easy-to-Use Design Makes Everyday Application and Routine Maintenance Easy

The Quattro Air For Her includes the features and benefits of a full face mask but has only four parts, making it simple to use and easy to clean. The frame’s open design supports the patented dual wall cushion with minimal facial impact, reducing potential red facial marks or tender spots on the nasal bridge while still providing a dependable seal at any pressure setting. You can easily apply and remove your mask using the quick release tabs that disconnect the elbow from the frame.

Flex Wing Forehead Support Offers Comfort and Unobstructed View

ResMed's flex wing forehead support offers a stable seal with limited contact to your face. The feature flexes into position without the use of forehead pads so that only the detachable headgear is touching your forehead, reducing discomfort, and opening your view for watching T.V. or reading a book.

The SoftEdge Headgear is designed with a premium rolled edge fabric to provide both an excellent headgear fit and supreme comfort during CPAP therapy. All sizes of the ResMed Quattro Air For Her come with size small SoftEdge headgear.

Spring Air Cushion Offers Comfort and Strengthens Seal

Full face masks like the Quattro Air For Her are especially beneficial for women who sleep with their mouths open or use high-pressure settings during their therapy. The dual wall cushion with Spring Air technology offers unique comfort at the nose bridge and helps produce a more robust seal.

Quick Release Elbow and Circular Vent Permit Movement and Reduce Noise

The single-piece elbow connects at the hose to avoid torque on the mask and prevent leak events during movement. A circular vent gently diffuses exhaled air, quieting the night for you and your partner.

The silicone cushion should be replaced once every three to six months.

Fitting: The manufacturer recommends the following steps for fitting the Quattro Air.

  1. Remove the elbow by depressing the side buttons on the elbow.
  2. Attach the headgear to the upper headgear hooks at the forehead support.
  3. Make a loop for each side of the lower headgear strap by attaching the Velcro closure to the strap.
  4. Place the Flex-wing forehead support on the forehead, swing the headgear over the back of the head.
  5. Adjust the upper headgear straps enough to hold the mask in place.
  6. Hook the lower headgear straps over the lower headgear hooks located at the bottom sides of the frame.
  7. Loosely adjust the tension at the lower and upper headgear straps.
  8. Reattach the elbow to the mask and attach the long hose from the machine to the elbow.
  9. Lay down, and with the air from the machine flowing, fine tune the strap tension adjustments.

Where do I find the size?

The mask frame size is directly proportionate to the size of the cushion. The mask frame size is not identifiable, except by applying the cushion size to the corresponding frame. To properly function, the Quattro™ Air frame and cushion must be the same size. The frame and cushion sizes cannot be mixed and matched.

To find full face cushion size, turn the mask so that the elbow is facing the user. Look to the lower right side of the full face cushion to locate a large embossed letter within a circle. The letter will indicate the size the full face cushion.

Sizing Quattro Air: ResMed recommends the following for sizing.

  • Quattro Air & Quattro Sizing Gauge.
  • The Quattro Air is the same size as the original Quattro Full Face Mask. A size Medium Quattro equates to a size Medium Quattro Air.
  • When comparing the Quattro Air to the Quattro FX Full Face Mask, step up a size. For example, if a Small Quattro FX is used successfully, step up to a size Medium in the Quattro Air.

How to Clean Your Mirage Quattro Air Full Face CPAP Mask

The manufacturer recommends disassembling and washing the mask daily. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Separate the mask cushion from the frame and remove the headgear.
  2. Using mild soap and lukewarm water, clean the mask cushion and forehead pad. If you’re having trouble clearing away excess debris, use a soft bristle brush (like a toothbrush).
  3. The headgear should be hand washed using a mild household detergent once a week and laid flat to dry. Do not put the headgear in the dryer
  4. When you’re finished, set all the parts aside to air dry, but make sure you don’t place them in direct sunlight.
