The TAP PAP Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask Assembly Kit features the mask frame and three pairs of nasal pillows for the innovative TAP PAP mask that can be used without headgear.

Find Your Best Fit From the Convenience and Comfort of Home

To help you find your best fit, the TAP PAP Assembly Kit includes three nasal pillow sizes: Small, Medium, and Large.

Adaptive Hose Connection Accommodates Active Sleepers

Active sleepers will enjoy that the TAP PAP mask features a short tube with a ball–and–socket joint that rotates to allow the mask to accommodate changing sleeping positions. This adaptive hose connection ensures a stable seal, even as you toss throughout the night. To release the mask from the long hose, simply flex the connection between the short hose and the joint.

Mouthpiece (Sold Separately) Helps You Find the Most Comfortable Fit

When the mouthpiece is connected, the frame of the TAP PAP becomes adjustable to help you find a more comfortable fit. Adjustments are made by using the nut and bolt joint on the mask frame.

FAQs

More

How long does it take to adjust to wearing the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask?

It depends on which part you're adjusting to. Adjusting to a mouthpiece may take a few days. Adjusting to a CPAP mask for the first time can take a couple of weeks for some people. If you experience discomfort, you can resize your mouthpiece or try a different size nasal pillow cushion.

What should I do if my TAP PAP mouthpiece feels too tight?

The TAP PAP mouthpiece should be a comfortably snug fit. To loosen the fit of the mouthpiece, hold the mouthpiece under hot tap water for 15 seconds and re-insert. Rather than sucking against the mouthpiece, gently bite on it for approximately 4 minutes. The fit will loosen around the teeth.

What if I need to change the width of my TAP PAP mouthpiece?

Hold the mouthpiece under hot water and spread or narrow the spacing using your fingers.

What do I do if my nasal pillows are not positioned correctly?

Adjust the alignment of the nasal pillows and mouthpiece using the bolt and screw. You can find more details on this in your user manual.

How do I address air leaks around my TAP PAP nasal pillows?

Fit the mask while under pressure with the air flowing from the machine. Move the mask away from your nose as much as you can without it leaking. Because the stability mouthpiece of the TAP PAP keeps the pillows in place you will find it can be tightened less than a regular mask and still seal. Rotation of the seals to achieve a good seal or change nasal pillow sizes.

Can I refit my mouthpiece if it doesn't feel right?

Yes, to completely remold the mouthpiece, place your mouthpiece in boiling water for one minute, then refit the piece to your upper and lower teeth. See your user manual for more information.
