In fact, I'd wish it could be tubeless! :) This pillow mask setup, however, is pretty comfortable and fairly unobtrusive. It stays on whether I'm sleeping on my back or on my side as long as I don't lie on the tube. The whole thing is very flexible and lightweight, however. When I sleep on my back, I simply move the tube straight down over my chest, and as little as a bed sheet is enough to hold it in place and prevent it from drooping down to the side, which I don't like.
