Features

Ultra-Lightweight Design

The AirFit P10 weighs just 1.6 ounces, making it 50% lighter than its predecessor. This incredibly light and compact frame is barely noticeable during sleep, allowing for greater freedom of movement and comfort throughout the night.

QuietAir Vent Technology

Experience peaceful nights with ResMed's innovative QuietAir vents. This technology diffuses exhaled air, reducing noise to a whisper-quiet 21.4 decibels. Enjoy undisturbed sleep without worrying about disturbing yourself or your bed partner.

Dual-Wall Nasal Pillows

The P10's nasal pillows feature a unique dual-wall design with a sturdy inner core and a soft outer shell. This provides both support and flexibility, reducing irritation while maintaining a secure seal throughout the night.

Split-Strap Headgear

The elastic, one-size-fits-most headgear includes a split-tail strap that creates a wider footprint along the back of the head. This design enhances stability, keeping the mask in place even for active sleepers.

Easy-Adjust Fit Tab

Located on the right side of the headgear, the easy-adjust fit tab allows for quick and simple adjustments. Simply pull the tab through the buckle until the mask feels secure for a personalized, comfortable fit.

Multiple Cushion Sizes

The AirFit P10 comes with three cushion sizes (small, medium, and large) to accommodate a variety of nose shapes and sizes. This allows you to find the most comfortable and effective fit for your unique facial structure.

Short Tube with Swivel Connection

The mask's short tube and swivel connection provide enhanced freedom of movement. This design reduces the likelihood of getting tangled in your tubing or pulling the mask out of place as you change positions during sleep.

Simple Three-Part Design

With just three main components - the frame, headgear, and nasal pillows - the AirFit P10 is incredibly easy to use, clean, and maintain. This simplicity makes it an excellent choice for both new and experienced CPAP users.

Ideal For

The ResMed AirFit P10 is an excellent choice if you...

  • Prioritize discrete low-profile CPAP therapy
  • Feel confined or claustrophobic wearing a full mask
  • Prefer an open sightline to read/watch TV before bed
  • Wear glasses to bed or need an unobstructed eye area
  • Sleep in multiple positions and require mobility
  • Have facial hair around the nose/mouth area

Tips & Resources

Our Product Review: AirFit P10 Review

Product Manual: AirFit P10 User Guide

Product Sizing Guide: AirFit P10 Sizing Guide

Using Your Mask for the First Time

Your mask comes with three cushion sizes (small, medium, and large). Try each to find the most comfortable fit.

Adjust the split-strap headgear for optimal stability. Position one part forward on the crown and the other below the bump on the back of your head.

Use the easy-adjust fit tab on the right side to fine-tune the mask's tension.

Ensure the QuietAir vents are unobstructed for optimal noise reduction and CO2 washout.

Headgear Position Note

If the tension against your nostrils feels too tight, try splitting the two halves of the headgear strap apart. This can help distribute pressure more comfortably.

AirFit P10 & SmartStart or Auto-On Features

Features that automatically start therapy airflow may not work effectively with the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask.

Sizing Tips

  • The nasal pillow rim is color-coded by size: Pink = Extra Small, Clear = Small, Gray = Medium, Blue = Large.
  • The size is also indicated by a letter on the bottom of the pillows (XS, S, M, L).
  • All pillow sizes fit both the standard AirFit P10 and the AirFit P10 for Her masks.

Putting On Your Mask in the Dark

  • Feel for the raised "RESMED" lettering on the plastic pillow frame. This should face upward towards your nose.
  • The plastic headgear stabilizers curve upward towards the ears. Feel for this upward curve to orient the mask correctly.

Remember, maintaining clean equipment is crucial for effective therapy and your health. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines for best results.

FAQs

By itself, this mask style isn’t designed for mouth breathers since there’s potential to lose air pressure at exhalation, but if you prefer the comfort of the AirFit P10, add a chinstrap or try mouth taping to keep your mouth closed while you sleep. We offer a variety of chinstraps in multiple sizes at various price points. Check out our Best CPAP chinstraps.

The AirFit P10 has a universal fit; it comes with one-size-fits-most headgear and three nasal pillow cushions. Each nasal pillow is color-coded with its corresponding size for easy identification, so you can find the best fit from the comforts of home. Once you’ve found your perfect nasal pillow size, order replacement pillows or bundle a 6-month or 12-month supply, which includes pillows and headgear to take the worry out of replacing your equipment. Replacing your CPAP equipment on time—every three to six months for your pillows and every six to nine months for your headgear—ensures sleep apnea therapy success.

If the fit of your nasal pillows doesn’t feel right, you may need to switch them out for a different size. If you’re still experiencing a sore nose with your AirFit P10, you may benefit from some of our comfort solutions like the RemZzzs Nasal Pillow Mask Liners.

This mask arrives assembled and can be fitted in just 30 seconds. Like other ResMed masks, the AirFit P10 comes with its pillows attached, so all you have to do is see which pillow size is best for your needs. The assembly kit version of this mask will need headgear purchased separately.

Once you have put the mask on, ensure the split-tail headgear strap is separated for a better grip on the back of your head. Then, use the adjustment tab to tighten the mask so that it is snug, but not tight. If you still feel that the cushion doesn't fit right, try once of the larger or smaller cushions included with your mask.

Your AirFit P10 mask should be washed daily with warm, soapy water. Then, rinse well and allow your mask and its components to air dry away from direct sunlight. Be sure to use mild soap, and never apply harsh cleaning chemicals to your CPAP equipment. Also, try incorporating mask wipes or the Lumin CPAP Mask and Accessory Cleaner to keep your equipment in tip-top shape while ensuring the bacteria and germs stay away.

The headgear for the AirFit P10 is designed to create tension supporting the nasal pillows by widening or bringing together the split back straps. Be careful not to over-tighten the headgear, as this will cause the headgear to become overly stretched out and you may need to replace it. The manufacturer recommends placing the headgear in cold water if you want to restore some tension after it's been used. To adjust fit, use the adjustment tab on the side of the headgear, but be sure to separate the headgear at the back of your head first for a more secure fit.
