    Using Your Mask for the First Time

    • Connect the air tubing from your CPAP to the mask elbow
    • Release elbow from the frame
    • Ensure headgear clips are detached from the frame
    • Hold the cushion in place over your nose and mouth
    • Pull the headgear over your head
    • Attach the lower headgear straps using the headgear clips
    • Adjust the upper and lower head straps until the mask fits comfortably
    • Adjust the microdial for minor adjustments if needed
    • Reattach the elbow and hose to complete assembly

    Medical Implant Safety

    This mask does not feature magnetic clips and is considered safe for people with medical implants including pacemakers, insulin pumps, and other medical implant devices.

    Choosing the Correct Cushion Size

    The Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask comes in a variety of sizes from extra small to large. If you have very petite facial features, we suggest going with the extra small cushion. Those with more standard sized features should choose the medium cushion. Large cushions are suggested for individuals with wide or large noses.     Care & Cleaning Notice

    The following information includes recommended instructions for the general care and maintenance of our CPAP masks. Please review your mask's product manual for further details, including dishwasher safety notes.

    Mask Part Replacement Schedule

    • Cushion: Every 3-6 Months
    • Headgear: Every 6 Months
    • Complete Mask: Every 12 Months

    Disassembling Your Mask

    1. Pull mask elbow away from frame
    2. Gently pull mask frame connector to separate frame from cushion
    3. Undo velcro head straps and pull away from hollow frame

    Daily Cleaning

    1. Disassemble mask
    2. Wipe cushion and elbow clean or wash with soap and water
    3. Leave both to dry out of direct sunlight
    4. Do not reassemble until mask parts are fully dry

    Weekly Cleaning

    1. Disassemble mask completely
    2. Wash frame, elbow, cushion, and headgear in warm water with mild soap
    3. Rinse each component thoroughly
    4. Allow all parts to dry away from direct sunlight or heat
    5. Do not reassemble mask until all parts are fully dry

    Are the Mirage Quattro cushion sizes interchangeable on the mask frame?

    Mirage Quattro cushions are not interchangeable. Each sized cushion has a corresponding mask frame.

    How do I care for my mask?

    Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask. 

    The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.

    For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

    Is the Mirage Quattro compatible with any machine?

    Yes, the Mirage Quattro is compatible with all CPAP, APAP, and BiLevel machines that work with a standard hose. Unlike the Mirage Quattro, the Quattro FX creates a firm seal without bulky forehead support and has fewer facial touchpoints in general. If you are claustrophobic, keep the number of touchpoints in mind when you’re shopping for a new CPAP mask.

    What accessories help with skin irritation and mask leaks?

    Sometimes a little tinkering is required to get the very best fit for your CPAP mask.
