Here are some basic instructions: Turn the dial to select the base sound you'd prefer. Press the power button to turn on the machine. The sound should begin immediately. Pressing the timer button will select a timed mode. To toggle through different degrees of complexity, press the button next to "Richness" to add or remove more noises from the base sound. The "Adaptive" button turns on the automatic volume controls in response to changes in ambient noise. Pressing it again will turn off adaptive mode. Cleaning the Unit The Sound + Sleep Sound Machine should be cleaned regularly with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents or harsh chemicals to clean the machine, and do not expose to water. Even a damp cloth is not recommended for use with this device. Warnings Do NOT Expose to Water: Exposure to water can cause damage or loss.
