Travel-Friendly Design

The FAA-approved NiteOwl lets you enjoy the benefits of CPAP therapy by plane, train, or automobile. The rechargeable design allows you to power your CPAP machine no matter where you go!

The Ideal Power Backup

NiteOwl automatically turns on in the event of a power outage, allowing your CPAP machine to continue working throughout the night without any interruption to your sleep apnea treatment.

Compatible With Most Popular Machines

Thanks to variable 12V and 24V output voltage, enjoy seamless compatibility with the:

  • ResMed AirSense 10
  • ResMed AirSense 11
  • ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP
  • Philips Respironics DreamStation
  • Philips Respironics DreamStation 2
  • Philips System One 60 Series

Recharges Using Your Existing Power Supply

This backup battery recharges via your CPAP machine’s power supply, eliminating the need to travel with an additional bulky power adapter. Charge times will, however, depend on your CPAP device. NiteOwl will reach full charge after just 2-3 hours when paired with a 90W power supply, such as the one included with the AirSense 10. With the AirSense 11 (65W), this may take over 4 hours, while the AirMini (20W) could take more than 8 hours to fully charge.

Impressive Runtime

One full charge can power 1-3 nights of therapy. However, you should keep in mind that runtimes depend on the machine type, air pressure level, mask fit, and humidity settings. Using the heated humidification or heated tubing may reduce this run time by up to 65%.

Power Your CPAP and Charge Your Phone At the Same Time

NiteOwl is capable of powering the majority of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) devices that are sold today, including ResMed’s AirSense and AirMini machines. Additionally, this battery features a USB charging port, which can be used to charge a cell phone, tablet, or other handheld device.

First Time Use Tips

  • For optimal performance, keep the NiteOwl in an environment ranging from 32°F to 104°F.
  • The battery’s capacity is reduced by 30% between 23°F to 32°F.
  • NiteOwl should recover to 100% of its total charging capacity for up to 500 cycles.
  • After 500 cycles, the battery will recover up to 70% of its full charging capacity.
  • For extended use, you can connect two NiteOwl batteries together.

Cleaning / Maintenance Tips

Wipe the aluminum alloy casing with a soft, dry cloth as needed. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.

For optimal use, store your NiteOwl battery in a dry location, away from direct sunlight, in an area that is kept between 60°F-80°F. If necessary, this battery can withstand being stored in temperatures ranging between -4° to 104°.
