Machine Compatibility

This battery is compatible with all CPAP machines. Due to the integrated AC outlet, the Portable Outlet UPS Battery can be used with any CPAP machine using your machine's normal power cord.

FAA/TSA Tips

At 159 Wh, the Portable Outlet Battery is one of the highest capacity CPAP batteries approved for air travel. Below are the guidelines for flying with a CPAP battery.

  • Your CPAP battery must be stored in your carry-on bag.
  • Lithium-ion CPAP batteries cannot be packed into your checked luggage.
  • All battery terminals should be covered to prevent a short circuit.
  • Passengers are allowed to carry an unlimited number of mid-capacity (up to 100 Wh) lithium-ion batteries for personal use.
  • Passengers are also allowed to carry up to 2 high capacity (101-160 Wh) lithium-ion batteries for personal use, including the Portable Outlet Battery.
  • Most airlines will honor this rule, but it’s best to double-check with your specific airline before your flight.

Extending the Life of Your CPAP Battery

  • Reduce or turn off CPAP humidity settings
  • Turn off heated tubing
  • If possible, instead of using your CPAP machine all night, use it for 4-6 hours per night to continue experiencing the benefits of CPAP
  • Travel machines use less power than a standard machine and are ideal for frequent travelers or power outages

  • Keep away from water or moisture.
  • Use manufacturer-approved battery chargers to avoid short circuit.
  • Do not disassemble.

  • Do not leave unattended for long periods of time while charging.
  • Avoid coming in contact with any electrolyte leakage.

Disposing of Your CPAP Battery

  • Batteries should not be discarded with typical household trash.
  • Contact your local waste department for more information.
